GFSelector is a bioinformatics resouce for crop functional genomics. It provides a computational classification of predicted genes and assignment of unique biological function.
Service available through this web site: (i) rice predicted gene database including a predicted gene function; (ii) search mechanism to retrieve the predicted genes with assigned function which contains a keyword; (iii) analysis pipeline for genome sequences including gene domain prediction and functional assignment for the predicted genes.
|• Database of Predicted Gene Function|
|Browse the annotation including a predicted gene function for each CDS contained in all rice BAC/PAC sequences (phase 2 and phase 3) in the HTG division of GenBank and for each predicted gene by RiceGAAS. Link from the BAC/PAC clone table sorted by chromosome and clone name are available. The computational annotation is automatically re-executed with the latest entries in reference databases.|

|• Analysis for Your Genomic Sequences|
|The system supports analyses for your query genomic sequence and graphical view including gene domain prediction and functional assignment for the predicted genes (by combined system of RiceGAAS and GFSelector). In order to use this service, you must register your e-mail address and password. This procedure is necessary to protect your data from another user.|
